"Qarabag" played the next European Cup game. The team of Gurban Gurbanov, who are competing in the European League, played their third match in the League stage. Our team met with the Dutch club "Ajax" at the Republic Stadium named after Tofig Bahramov.

Despite being in the minority, our team continued to fight head-to-head with a strong opponent. However, in the 36th minute, the representative of the Netherlands managed to open the score in one of his few attacks.

The team of Gurban Gurbanov, who fell behind in the score, continued to try for an equalizing goal. At the beginning of the second half, the fans watched the fight at an equal level. Our team even got a chance to stand out in several episodes. However, near the end, "Ajax" scored two more goals. In the 79th minute, our defender Elvin Jafarguliyev was sent off by the Scottish referee with a second yellow card. Thus, our team, which finished the match with 9 players, lost to "Ajax" with a score of 0:3.
