34 years since the Khojaly genocide



Today marks 34 years since the Khojaly tragedy, a dark chapter written in blood in the history of Azerbaijan.

On the night of February 25–26, 1992, Armenian military units committed a brutal massacre against our people in Khojaly, killing 613 innocent civilians.

Among the victims were 106 women, 63 children, and 70 elderly people. 1,275 civilians were taken captive, and the fate of 150 of them remains unknown. Eight families were completely annihilated. 25 children lost both parents, while 130 children lost one parent.
