Another Convincing Victory

Qarabağ played their next match in the UEFA Europa League, facing Icelandic side Vestri away from home in the second leg of the first qualifying round.

The match in Reykjavík began with the following starting XI:

As in the first leg, Qarabağ controlled the game from the opening whistle. Dominating both possession and play, our team found the net twice within the opening half hour to take firm control of the contest.

Qarabağ maintained the same intensity after the break and added a third goal. Although there were further opportunities to extend the lead, the score remained unchanged as our team secured a convincing 3–0 away victory.

Having also won the first leg in Baku by the same scoreline, Qarabağ progressed to the second qualifying round with a 6–0 aggregate victory.

In the next round, Qarabağ will face CSKA Sofia (Bulgaria). The ties are scheduled to be played on 23 and 30 July, with Qarabağ hosting the first leg.
