ELKHAN ABDULLAYEV: "I FEEL EXTREMELY PROUD TO BE THE CHIEF COACH OF "GARABAGH”!"

"Garabagh" Footbol Club has already got to trainings with the new chief coach. Taking into consideration a great interest we lear5ned and now present you considerations of the new chief coach about "Garabagh" and its perspectives in the future. - “Garabagh” is the club with its history. Saying Azerbaijani Football we remember “Garabagh” along with “Neftchi”, “Kapaz” (now “Gandja”). This club has already said their words in the past soviet times. I am glad that the choice of the management has got me at the end. I feel extremely proud to be the chief coach of “Garabagh”. I will endeavor to manage the position properly. - How did you meet this appointment? - This was a bit unexpected for me. As I said before “Garabagh” is a prestigious club and to be appointed the chief coach of such a club is very important for me. I deal with coaching for 8 years but nevertheless I am young I feel that I will manage the job with proper. - will your work in the club disturb the one in National Team? - Not at all. I have already talked about this with the management. They don’t mind my dealing with National Team. I will say beforehand that I will make my plans so as to be useful for both teams. - The footballers whose contracts are over have been transferred to other clubs. How will you fill their places up? - As our contracts with several leading footballers are over so they are gone to other clubs and this is natural. But the ones who have contracts with us they got to trainings and will take part in the next season. Of course we will recruit new footballers instead of gone ones. We invited several footballers from U-19 and U-21 for test. Of course we will invite legionaries if they experiences are higher than that of ours. On the whole we will try that there will be more young footballers in our club. We are intended to create the football of the future. - What tasks has the management put for you in the next championship? - Of course we have tasks. But this task isn’t a struggle to take a place as many thinks but it is to create disciplined team and the team of proper level. If we do that, to get a result will not be so difficult. What we have said we want to get with our young perspective footballers. - Can we get this for one year for you? - one year is sufficiently long time. Much can be achieved for a year.
