Qarabağ played its next match in the 22nd round of the Misli Premier League, hosting Sabail at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium.

Our players started the game in control, maintaining more possession. The opponent, on the other hand, attempted to create dangerous situations through quick counterattacks. From the middle of the first half onward, our team fully dominated the game. Sabail tried to stay compact in defense and managed to keep their goal intact. Although we created several clear chances, particularly through Abdullah Zoubir and Aleksey Kaschuk, they could not capitalize.

Our team continued its dominance in the second half. As the tempo increased, the breakthrough finally came in the 76th minute. Yassin Benzia converted a penalty won by Leandro Andrade. Just a few minutes later, Andrade scored twice in six minutes, bringing his season tally to nine goals and climbing to the top of the league's scoring charts.

Returning to the squad after the winter break, Kady Borges made his presence felt with a goal and an assist. He precisely headed in Elvin Jafarguliyev’s cross. The final goal of the match was scored by Nariman Akhundzade in added time.

With this dominant 5-0 victory, our team increased its points tally to 53.
