Four referees deprived off refereeing matches of the national championship for life term



A joint meeting of the Referees and Discipline Committees was held under the chairmanship of the AFFA president Ramiz Mirzayev today. The activity of the referees in the matches held in the first tour of the XIV championship of the country was discussed comprehensively in the meeting. This was informed to APA from the Information and relations with Public Department of AFFA. Though R.Mirzayev informed in his speech that he gave definite instructions for eliminating mistakes made in the XIII championship of the country in the meeting conducted between the administration of the structure and referees on the eve of the championship, he stressed that some referees paid no heed to this criticism. The AFFA general secretary Fuad Asadov, chairman of the Referees Committee Sayavush Ibrahimov, chairman of the Technical Progress and Development Department, member of the Referees Committee Ali Huseynov, chairman of the Discipline Committee, Tofig Fatullayev, chairman of Football Veterans Union Rasim Zeynalov, veteran referee Rustam Rahimov and others making speeches in the meeting severely criticized mistakes made by the referees and noted importance of conducting serious measures for eliminating this. Zohrab Gadiyev, Anar Salmanov, Mahammad Mammadov and Munis Abdullayev were removed from refereeing after the discussions because of giving way to serious shortcomings. Imankhan Sultani, Khagani Mammadov, Azad Mutallimov, Rovshan Ahmadov, Eldar Naghibayov and Vusal Aliyev were warned for the last time. The deputy of the general secretary Sayavush Ibrahimov asked the AFFA administration to be removed from the post of the chairman of the Referees Committee because of abundance of his works. That is why temporary execution of the post of the chairman of the Referees Committee was commissioned to the member of the Committee Ali Hasanov.
