Gurban Gurbanov: “We must play with great discipline”

Ahead of the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round match between Qarabağ and Shkëndija (North Macedonia), our team’s head coach, Gurban Gurbanov, held a press conference. The experienced coach shared his thoughts on the match:

“I believe tomorrow will be an interesting game for the fans. Based on the fight shown in the first match, both teams deserved to win. We have a slight advantage as we lead 1-0. Moreover, we will be playing in front of our home supporters. We must play a very serious 90 minutes. Shkëndija is a team that defeated FCSB over two legs before facing us. We have seen their character and fighting spirit. My impressions of them remain the same. Tomorrow, we must play with great discipline and be strong against them.”
