“It is very important to win every game”

After the match "Gabala" - "Qarabag" (0:2) of the 1/8 finals of the Azerbaijan Cup, a briefing was held by our team's head coach Gurban Gurbanov. The experienced specialist shared his thoughts on the match:

“It was important to win. We are happy that we did it. It was not easy at all. We had a team that defended very well and went on dangerous counterattacks. I congratulate our players on qualifying for the next stage. I would like to thank our fans who came to support us in such weather, who traveled a long distance”.

Head coach Misli also spoke about the match to be held on December 7 within the XVI round of the Premier League: “We are more concerned about our own game, preparing the players well for the upcoming match. “Sabah” has always been a willing team. Our games with them were interesting”.

Gurban Gurbanov said that they will also go to the away match against the Swedish club "Elfsborg" on December 12 in the VI round of the League stage of the UEFA Europa League to win: "The game with "Elfsborg" will be important for us. We try to achieve the necessary result in any tournament. For this, winning every match is very important. We want to leave the field victorious in the game with "Elfsborg". Every victory gives us additional European Cup experience. We will seriously prepare for that match."
