Memorandum Signed Between QarabaĞ Fk and Azerkhalcha OJSC

A memorandum of understanding on cooperation has been signed between Qarabag Football Club and Azerkhalcha OJSC.

The signing ceremony took place at the sales and exhibition hall located in Icherisheher. The document was signed by Qarabag FK President Tahir Gozel and Chairman of the Board of Azerkhalcha OJSC Emin Mammadov.

According to the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in the design, production, and sale of limited carpet collections reflecting the brand values of Qarabag FK, Karabakh horses, and national ornaments. At the same time, the agreement предусматривает the promotion of these products in international markets and the implementation of joint projects.

During their speeches, the parties noted that this cooperation will contribute to the development of carpet-making art, the preservation of national heritage, and the international promotion of the Karabakh narrative.

Qarabag FK President Tahir Gozel emphasized that the partnership will be beneficial for both sides:

“The signing of this memorandum of understanding between Qarabag Football Club and Azerkhalcha OJSC is not only a partnership for us, but also a unification of values, traditions, and our national identity. I believe that the collections created as a result of this cooperation will not just be products, but a cultural message conveying the spirit of Karabakh to the world. It is very important for us that the brand values of Qarabag Football Club are not limited to stadiums. In this regard, I am fully confident that the path we have started with Azerkhalcha will be long-term and successful.”

Chairman of Azerkhalcha OJSC and Honored Art Worker Emin Mammadov also expressed his satisfaction with the establishment of this mutually beneficial cooperation:

“Azerkhalcha OJSC promotes the history of Karabakh carpet weaving, its carpets, and culture both domestically and internationally through various events and exhibitions. Qarabag Football Club, in turn, consistently promotes the name ‘Karabakh’ and the realities of this region on the international stage through football. Qarabag FK’s contributions to Azerbaijani football directly serve to improve the level of the domestic championship and increase the country’s recognition in the international arena.”

Head coach of Qarabag FK Qurban Qurbanov also highlighted the importance of the memorandum:

“This cooperation is an important step in preserving and promoting national values. Considering football’s wide audience, such projects will further contribute to promoting the name of Karabakh and Azerbaijani culture across a broader geography.”

Following the signing ceremony, the parties presented each other with commemorative gifts.
