Nazarenko on target in Ukraine win

Ukraine 4-0 Costa Rica Ukraine cruised to a comfortable victory today in Kiev against fellow FIFA World Cup finalists Costa Rica in their final warm-up on home soil. Shevchenko absent Ukraine, who have qualified for the finals for the first time, had to make do without injured captain Andriy Shevchenko but still struck three times in the opening 40 minutes through Serhiy Nazarenko, Andriy Vorobey and Maxim Kalnychenko. Olexiy Bielik finished the scoring in the second half. Costa Rica will need to improve quickly as they face hosts Germany in the World Cup s opening match on 9 June. Ukraine kick off their campaign against Spain five days later.
