"Our fans showed us their love and trust"

A press conference was held by the head coach of our team, Gurban Gurbanov, after the match between "Qarabag" and "Shamakhi" (3:0) of the XI round of the current Premier League. An experienced specialist expressed his opinion about the meeting:

"I congratulate my players. It was an important win. Especially in the first half we were playing against a team that defended very well. The opponent was tight and compact. For this reason, we were able to create a 1-2 goal situation. But in the second half, the open game went away. Therefore, it became more comfortable for our players to play. It was an important win to secure our place in the championship. I would like to thank our fans who supported me and our team from the beginning of the match. They showed their love and trust in us. It was very pleasant for all of us."

The head coach also explained the reason why Brazilian forward Juninho Olavio did not participate in the match: "He felt a pain in his muscle in the last game. Doctors were not in favor of taking risks. That's why we didn't include Juninho's name in the application for participation in the match."

Gurban Gurbanov added that they have analyzed the opponents they will face in the UEFA Europa League: "I have watched the games of all our opponents, I know about all of them. But before the meetings, we will analyze in depth".
