President Ilham Aliyev congratulated Qarabağ

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has shared a post on his social media accounts regarding the victory of Qarabağ Football Club.

“I sincerely congratulate Qarabağ Football Club on its brilliant victory over Eintracht in the main stage of the UEFA Champions League.

Despite the referee’s unfair and biased decisions, justice prevailed. This is not the first time that referees appointed by UEFA have attempted to obstruct Qarabağ’s path to victory with unjust and prejudiced rulings.

I hope that UEFA will clarify who appointed this referee.
