“Qarabag” in the Semi-finals

Our team has played its next match. “Qarabag” faced “Shamakhi” in the return leg of the quarter-final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup.

The match took place at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium. Our team started the game with the following lineup: 99. Mateus Kochalski, 55. Badavi Huseynov (c), 27. Toral Bayramov, 22. “Qarabag” began the home match with an early goal. Emmanuel Addai found the net in the 6th minute. However, the visitors equalized before halftime.

In the second half, “Qarabag” increased the pressure and it paid off midway through the period. First, Emmanuel Addai completed his brace to level the aggregate score over two matches. Just two minutes later, Leandro Andrade scored to make it 3:1.

It should be noted that Qarabag’s opponent in the semi-finals will be determined in tomorrow’s “Gabala” – “Sabah” match. The first legs of the semi-finals will take place on April 2, while the return matches will be played on April 22.
