Qurban Qurbanov: "I am satisfied with the preparation period"

After the friendly match between Qarabağ and Zirə, which ended 4:2, Qarabağ’s head coach Qurban Qurbanov shared his thoughts:

“It was a good game. We gave almost every player a chance. It ended on a positive note. The match was beneficial for both teams. We displayed a calm and disciplined performance. This was the final match of our preparation program, and I am satisfied with the overall preparation period. Once the players build up their fitness in the coming months, we will demand maximum effort from them. Considering the injuries and the lack of preparation of some players, I am pleased."

The coach also commented on the readiness of young players integrated into the main team: “Our young players have been training with us for a while now. We have included Davud Mənsumov in training sessions for three months. Amin Rzayev, who is 16 years old, has been training with the senior team for nearly a year. They are doing additional training to improve their physical condition. They are disciplined and are gradually growing within the team."
