Qurban Qurbanov: “The Result Reflected the Match”

Following the Misli Premier League Round 31 match between Qəbələ and Qarabağ (1–1), our head coach Qurban Qurbanov spoke at the post-match press conference and shared his thoughts on the game:

“I would like to thank our fans. Despite the long trip, they came to support the team and stood by us throughout the match. The players gave everything they had today, and I have no complaints about their performance.

We could have won the game, but we could also have lost it. We earned a draw against a well-organised, disciplined and competitive team. Based on both their football and their character, Qəbələ deserve to be higher in the standings. Kakhaber Tskhadadze has built a good system and developed a team of true fighters.

As we approach the end of the season, both the psychological and physical fatigue are affecting the players. We still have two matches ahead of us, and we must prepare seriously for them.

The result reflected the match. I wish both teams the best of luck.”
