Qurban Qurbanov: "The Victory Was Very Important"

Following Qarabağ's 3–0 victory over Vestri (Iceland) in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round, head coach Qurban Qurbanov shared his thoughts after the match:

"It was a good performance. Despite the long journey, it was very important to secure the victory. Scoring six goals over the two legs without conceding is an excellent result. I congratulate my players.

We now have two matches against CSKA ahead of us. Starting tomorrow, we will focus our attention on the Bulgarian side and begin preparing in detail. We will have enough time to get ready for those games, and I believe we will be in even better condition by then.

I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate our fellow Azerbaijani clubs, Sabah and Zirə, on progressing in the European competitions. Azerbaijani clubs won all six matches, which will contribute positively to our UEFA coefficient.
