SATTAR ALIYEV: "IF I WERE YOUNG, PLAYED FOOTBALL AGAIN. . ."
Today is the birthday and at the same time anniversary of his coach career of Sattar Aliyev who played football in "Garabagh" for many years and this day of the last year said good bye to football in the match "Garabagh" - "Khazar-Lenkaran" and started his coach career. On this occasion we decided to meet with the hero of the occasion.
- Mr. Sattar, it’s a year of your coach career. Is it difficult to be a footballer or a coach?
-Both are difficult. But to be a coach is more responsible. Because footballer is responsible only for himself but a coach for all footballers.
...
- Who offered you to work as a coach?
- Mr.Amrah. I wanted to leave football. I thought about my good bye match. The management of the club appreciated my toil in “Garabagh” and offered me this post and I didn’t mind. I thank all the management of “Garabagh” the president Mr.Tahir, Mr. Amrakh for organizing my good bye match in the high level.
- Are you pleased with you job?
- Not only pleased but also I love it. I am ready to sacrifice my day and night to manage my job.
-Are you pleased with the level of Championship?
- Of course it’s a long way to the level. I believe it will rise year by year.
- How do you see the future of Azerbaijan football?
- I’ll be brief: Bright.
