Lately Azerbaijan football’s development with wide strides is no more doubtful to anyone. But for the continuous development special attention should be paid to children football by every Football Club and this is important and staple condition for the development. Youth of proper rank able to bring our national team of all age level to success is not brought up with National Combined Team at the head. And the main reason for that is our lacking and improper attention to children football as clubs up to now. “Garabagh” Football Team defined this fact from the beginning of the firs days of the Championship and has started activities in this direction. First of all well-known specialist honored coach Hamdi Serpil Tuzun who has brought Turkey Youth National Team to the name of Champion of Europe twice and once to the second of Europe was invited to Azerbaijan and the first “Teenage Footballer” contest was announced. At the same time with Mr. Hamdi Serpil Tuzun also Tachettin Dogan and Teyfuk Saygili from the most successful Turkey Beshiktash team were attracted to “Garabagh” Football Club’s project for development of children football. The purpose of the contest is to attract gifted youth of 1987-1992 to football, to select the best of them and to give incitement to children football development in Azerbaijan. The youth who wants to participate in the contest will be registered at “Shafa” stadium on 5-11 March and will earn the chance to participate in the contest on 5-11 March. For the first time the contest held in Baku will also be held in the regions. We also would like to stress, that the main purpose of the contest, with the great coach Hamdi Serpil Tuzun at the head who founded in 1975 “Beshiktash” JK Ozkaynak Duzeni (children football school), and gifted Rza Chalımbay (present chief coach of “Beshiktash”), Gokhan ,Okan Buruk,Emre Ashık,Fatih Tekke,Oktay Derelioglu,Yıldıray Bashturk and widely supported by “Garabagh” Football Team with pride is to give stimulation to Azerbaijan children football progress.
