"This Year's European Competitions Were a Good Experience"

After the UEFA Europa League Group Stage's sixth-round match between "Elfsborg" (Sweden) and "Qarabağ" (1:0), our head coach, Qurban Qurbanov, shared his thoughts on the game during the press conference:

"We were playing against a team that defended well. Unfortunately, we lost, even though we came here to win. My players fought until the end. Football is built on mistakes, and we conceded a goal due to a momentary lapse in focus. Regardless, I want to thank my players. They worked very hard this year. To grow further, we need to keep looking ahead. This year’s European competitions were a good experience."

The head coach also mentioned plans to strengthen the squad during the winter transfer window: "Every year, we try to bring new players into the team. However, this doesn’t mean we are considering letting go of the players we currently have. We are on the lookout for new players. We want to make a few additions during the transfer period, but that will depend on the situation."
