“Qarabağ” played its next match in the Misli Premier League. Our team faced “Shamakhi” in a rescheduled game from the third round. The match took place at the Shamakhi City Stadium.

The game began with our team in control. From the first minutes, our players dominated possession and exchanged passes in the opponent’s half, searching for gaps. The home team, defending as a unit, relied on quick counterattacks. However, these attempts were effectively neutralized by our defenders’ solid performances. As a result, neither team managed to score before halftime.

The second half was more engaging. As the tempo increased, both teams created dangerous attacks. Midway through the half, both sides had scoring opportunities, but the goalkeepers kept the score level. In the final moments of the match, our team fully seized the initiative, and in the 4th minute of added time, Musa Gurbanli scored the winning goal, securing 3 points for “Qarabağ.”

Thus, “Qarabağ” achieved a 1:0 victory in the away match. This win brought the team’s total points to 44, solidifying its position at the top of the league standings.

Note: “Qarabağ” will play its next match on December 22 against “Araz-Nakhchivan.” The 18th-round game will be held at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium.
