We earned very important three points

After the Misli Premier League Round XVI match between “Qabala” and “Qarabag” (1:2), our team’s head coach Gurban Gurbanov held a press conference. The experienced specialist shared his thoughts on the match:

“I congratulate my players. We earned a very important three points. It was the end of the year, and the players were experiencing fatigue, tension, and minor injuries. Because of that, I was worried and cautious. We finished the match without injuries. I was thinking more about the players than the game itself. Everything went well, and the three points came at the right time. I wish ‘Qabala’ success—they fight well in every match. They deserve more points than they currently have. I would also like to thank the fans who came to the stadium in this cold weather.”

The head coach also assessed the year 2025, which is coming to an end:

“It turned out very well overall. There were both dissatisfactions and successes. I am inside the team, and I saw what the players went through. We are in a position where everyone expects satisfaction from us. It was a tight and intense season. The weight of the Champions League is much heavier. Compared to the Europa League, both the pressure and responsibility are higher, and you expend much more energy. The players withstood this pressure. I am very pleased with my players.”
