"We played in a very good atmosphere"

After the match "Neftchi" - "Qarabag" of the 15th round of the Misli Premier League (0:3), a press conference was held by our team's head coach Gurban Gurbanov. The experienced specialist shared his thoughts on the match:

"I congratulate my players. It was a very important victory. We wanted to achieve a successful result with a good game. True, I was not completely satisfied with the first half. But in the second half they became more active, tried to play correctly. We played in a very good atmosphere. I would like to thank the fans of both teams, who approach such a derby-like game in a completely different way."

The head coach said that midfielder Julio Romao, who was substituted after the break, was injured: "Romao's leg was swollen. The pain was too much. The condition of his injury will be clarified tomorrow."

Gurban Gurbanov added that goalkeeper Shahruddin Mahammadaliyev has fully recovered from his injury: "Shahruddin has been with the team for 4-5 training sessions. We can also use his services in the upcoming games. If we can create conditions for him to participate in a few matches before winter, it might be easier for him to prepare for the new year."
