After the UEFA Champions League play-off match Qarabağ – Newcastle United (1:6), our head coach Qurban Qurbanov held a press conference and shared his thoughts on the game:

“Unfortunately, we lost with this score. We did not want to lose by such a margin. After conceding the first goals, my players were unable to regroup. The opponent is a very fast team, and their preparation was at a high level. We thank our fans for staying with the team until the very end. The positive thing is that Champions League matches were held in Azerbaijan until February.”
