“We want to preserve the spirit of victory”

Following the Misli Premier League's 29th round match between Qarabağ and Zira (1:0), our team's head coach Gurban Gurbanov held a press conference. The experienced coach shared his thoughts about the match:

"I congratulate my players. It was a very intense game. They were exhausted by the end; they put in a lot of effort. The opponent defended smartly and effectively, not giving us much room to play. I also want to thank our fans for their support."

The head coach noted that although they are 15 points ahead of second-placed Zira, they cannot afford to relax: "15 points is a significant margin. For years, we’ve been going through intense seasons. The players experience physical and psychological fatigue. The current situation will also be very beneficial for them. We will approach every match aiming for victory. We always want to make our fans happy and preserve the spirit of victory."
