Legend of the Bulgarian football Khristo Stoichkov, now heading national combined team of the country, was recognized as the best football player of 90th of the Old World. Voting was held by known TV-broadcasting Company Eurosport. On Tuesday the headlines practically of all Bulgarian editions have been devoted to this news. Almost 900 thousand persons have taken part in the voting which has been lead by broadcasting company Eurosport as informs ITAR-TASS. Stoichkov has collected 58 % of votes, thus having outstripped the basic contender - Romanian football player George Hadzhi. There are 40 of % of voices on his account. Results of voting are natural. Stoichkov in 1992 has been recognized as the best football player of the world, in 1994 has received a prize as the best football player of Europe. The house of the Bulgarian football player is decorated by set of other awards. In particular, he was elected as the best football player of Bulgaria five times (1989-1992, 1994), and has twice won « Gold boot » (1990 and 1994).
